I met a boy who told me that
He´d never seen the sea
I took his hand and told him what
A beauty it would be
But he feared to walk away with me
to leave here all his friends
Though he believed in what I had said
And thought about his chance
He looked so sad and so alone
And tears were in his eyes
He knew that he would never go
To see the edge of sky
